ANG BAOS! Or hong baos. Whatever you call it. Don't you just love them (: Went visiting on Sunday and yesterday, so didn't really have time to blog. Apologies! Honestly speaking, other then the ang baos, visiting is a BORE. You just sit there and listen to your aunties go on and on about their children or their schools and all that ya ya. Or they'll ask you what school you are in and comment about that school and ask you about your future. And you still have to sit there with a smile on your face. Now isn't that fun.

Anyways, I LOVE playing Blackjack. Especially when you're the banker :D I won like 10 bucks playing with people who bet only like 50 cents or a dollar (: Cause we went to my aunt's place and had dinner there as usual. Then after dinner, they went to a table to play Blackjack, but they play REAL money, so no kids allowed. Boohoo. So my cousins and I went to the room and we played with some ang bao money and whatever shillings they had (: FUN! Cause they're erm pretty blur when it comes to Blackjack. They drew more cards when they had a 19!! Who does that?! LOL. Wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year (:

I went back to Hua Yi today!! Haha. But I didn't really see my friends though. The security women person was like "You're only allowed go to the general office". I went back with Gracie and Euphoria, Adina and Jean tagged along. Gracie had to collect her progress award thing from the general office, so we went back to see. I only saw Susanna, Beatrice, Yi Shi, Charlene and Zexun. SAD! I didn't even get to see my ex-form teacher!! ): I think they had a meeting or something, cause the whole staff room was empty. I think. Too bad. Guess what? THERE IS NO HALF DAY ON FRIDAY. What the heck. Apparently the MOE was saying something like technically Friday was not the eve of CNY, so the half day wasn't neccesary or something like that. H-ELLO. Why do they have to be THAT technical. Sheesh. Don't think I can make it to visit my primary school in time. Boohoo.

So I didn't get into modern dance. Laugh all you want. But whatever. So not the end of the world. I think I may join something boring. Like library. LOL. I mean I don't have time for all the training crap this year. No offence to people who joined library. Seriously, I just may join it. Go figure.

Anyways, I hate the Chinese test thing today!! UGH. At some point it felt like there were just some blobs of ink on the paper. I had NO idea what the passage was about. At first. I thought the family published a book, but in the end I think they were writing letters to each other cause they didn't live together or something like that. What the heck. And Joanne is SO lucky. She doesn't have to take Chinese. I want that too! Actually, maybe not. I can be SO fickle-minded these days. Toodles (:

God I'm so exhausted. Anyways, went for modern dance and drama auditions yesterday. I GOT THROUGH THE FIRST AUDITION OF MODERN DANCE. OH MY GOD. The auditions were frigging hard!! I mean like she made us do ballet stuff and some contemporary things and the last part was she just played some music and you had to like dance on your own. And she only showed us once or twice and we had to learn it in like 10-15 seconds!! !!! !!! !!! And, Euphoria was beside me and she was GOOD. I mean like she has learnt non-syllabus ballet before. I'm SO freaked out (not by Euphoria). There's the second round of audition tomorrow!! Okay, enough about the yadda yadda.

We had this English common test or class test, whichever you call it, on Monday. IT WAS SO HARD. Gracie said it was like British Council standard or something. Which I think is SO true. We had a passage about CLONING. It was kinda like argumentitve I think. And it was like three pages long, it wasn't on the flipside though. So it was kinda like one and a half pages, BUT STILL. Thank God for the rain. If not who knows how many squats that loony teacher would make us do during Mass Stretch. Actually, he wanted to make us do 75!! Imagine squating down and standing up 75 times?! In the end we did till 40. Haha. Then it started to rain (: Haha. Love it.

We then went back to class. Apparently we weren't supposed to. Hehs. So we went to the hall for English Hour. Actually I think it's called English Encounter or something. But, whatever. So we were late. But the teacher wasn't really mad. He's cute. That's what some people say. ROFL. Like the Singaporean version of Jonathan Togo or something like that. SO NOT. Jonathan Togo is WAY hotter. Anyway. We had this 'Spelling Bee' thing. Haha. So Hazirah, Charite and Euphoria went up to represent our class. Yay them! :D They were pretty good, we got into the top 5 positions (: The teachers made us spell words like Solemn, Piety, Marriage, Exaggerate, Rendezvous, Phlegm etc. Haha. Then the students not participating had to spell the words out themselves on their notebooks. The words were pretty easy I guess o_O

After that, we had Chinese. It's pretty interesting. I don't mean the Chinese Language. All the sec Chinese 2s are split into 5 different classes. I'm in 2/4! Yay! I'm in the same class as Dawn (:D), Melanie, Jean and Gracie (:DDD). The teacher arranged our sitting arrangements according to our classes :D. And I'm sitting beside Gracie! Haha (: Nicolette is sitting behind us with Jean and Dawn and Melanie is sitting infront of us :D Class was pretty fun. We had to act out a story which was WAY lame. ROFL. It's was something about how the Earth was created and that there used to be pillars holding the heavens yadda yadda yadda. LOL. We were like acting, giggling and reading the script. I think we didn't do a really good job, so the teacher said we had to REDO it. !!! Nevermind, it's gonna be fun (:

OH MY GOD. I absolutely hate my luck or whatever you call it. there is this pyscho freak who added me on msn. have no idea who he is. he said he's from st patricks and is the same age as me. IT'S SO SO SO SO SO DUMB. when I ask how he got my email address, he says he doesn't know. omg, he's frigging smart ain't he. then he starts asking me for my PHONE NUMBER. and i politely say I do not give out my number to people whom I do not know very well. and he was like 'plzplzplz'. urgh. if there's one thing I can't stand is all the 'z' replacing the 's'. then he was asking me HOW TALL I WAS. how appropriate. you know he's only 150!! that's like DWARF height. and kept asking me to be friends. then at the end of the conversation, he said he liked me. and asked if I wanted to be in a relationship. !!! !!! what the heck. what luck I have. it's like he's some kind of tracker or something. I think it's probably some old and wrinkled person behind the computer who has absolutely nothing to do. It's so insulting. as if I would go out with someone I've never met. (If you think this post is inappropriate, fine. but I NEED to vent my anger somewhere.)

today we did this BIOMETRIC thing in school!! it was pretty funny. it's this fingerprint system whereby when we reached school we had to scan our fingerprints every morning to 'mark' our attendance!! call me lame, but it's like we're in some spy organisation, you know, like in those movies, and the only way to enter is to have your fingerprints scanned!! haha. it was pretty funny. we spent like 1 hour there, near the canteen where the machines are just getting our fingerprints into the system. it was pretty slow cause it was done one by one. so grace, gracie, dalvinjit, caroline, joanne, adina and one more girl whom I really dunno her name (apologies!) just sat at the parade ground and started gossiping. it was SO fun!! haha. especially when they talked about the exchange programme and the Daniel, Celina (I think) and the necklace thing!! ROFL :D it was hilarious.

today was fun! I LOVE my Literature teacher. she's HILARIOUS. and when we don't answer her questions, she'll start singing. which isn't very good. haha. I had great fun in class. kept laughing :D hahaha. turns out that some girls whom I thought were bitches and stuck-ups, were actually really nice! haha. go figure. and my chairman is from the same primary school as me! ahaha. she's really nice and stuff. my Science teacher is nice, but she speaks REALLY softly. I can barely hear her. as you know, I'm like sitting at the back, so lucky me :D

it just doesn't seem to stop raining huh? it's pretty nice and all, but too much of it is kinda.. I dunno.. boring? one of friends said that when it rains, it feels like God is peeing on us or something. ROFL. haha. shan't say who it is :D have a great Hari Raya! toodles

haven't blogged for many days. apologies! been pretty busy. I love st margaret's! ahaha (x it's pretty nice. I mean the school. the girls in my class are really nice. and there're two Grace now. so it's pretty confusing. actually, it's totally confusing. anyway. both Grace are really nice. haha. the one I just met is really nice, quite funny too. and there's Caroline. she's hilarious. and the best part, she doesn't like chinese! woohoo! Joanne is really nice too (x there's more, but I have more to blog!

first day of school, we had talks in the hall for almost like 6hrs or so. pretty boring. legs kept cramping up. but I guess they were nice enough to switch on the air-con :D after that we went back to class to meet our form teacher and form tutor. my form tutor is okay i guess, but i mean the way she TALKS. it's kinda erm, hard to get use to. she kinda slangs it. and she wears SUNGLASSES in class. haha. fyi, it's not a fashion statement, its cause of an eye operation or something. I have no idea. I mean she talks kinda soft and I'm sitting WAY at the back, which I seriously don't like, cause I can only talk to a few people and most of the people who are NICE are like in the middle. rar. and one time during English, she was like talking about guys. yes, guys. it wasn't even like health class or something. she was like don't get into relationships now (which i true) then she started saying that guys only think about soccer blah blah blah. then she started to talk about kiasu-ism and how good it is yadda yadda yadda. haha. but actually, she's really nice. in an eccentric way i guess. oh, and my form teacher. erm. all I can say is that she needs an image consultant and a miracle. she's way WAY to cranky and too strict. I mean being strict is good, but give us a break once in a while.

next day of school, we had ORIENTATION. no offence to the prefects, who by the way did a GREAT job (not being sarcastic) in organising the whole thing, it kinda sucked on the first and second day. cause my group was SO NOT enthusiastic when we needed to be. but we have an AWESOME prefect in charge of us, Jean!! SHE IS SOOO HYPER! she is always smiling, jumps most of the time and is always funny.

I MISS 1E6 (05) and my other friends in Hua Yi. boohoo. hope to see you guys again! :D I heard the new principle is rocking. like she doesn't give remedials or something. haha. that's pretty neat of her I guess. ahaha.

Top 5 dumbest/weirdest things guys have ever said to me in 2005:

1) "Technically, darth vader can breathe through both his mouth and nose, however, he has to speak through a voice projector which is attached to a respiratory intake on the outside of his life-sustaining mask. Therefore, we can conclude that he most likely breathes through his mouth."

2) "The lightsaber is powered in the same way as clone troopers' blasters are-charging the power cells. In the lightsaber, a powerful bulb shines through a cithin (I have no idea what is that). After going through all these processes, the eventual result is vertical, delicately tuned, massless wave of energy."

3) "You know, when I walk in a cooling place, I don't feel cold. But when I walk faster and faster, I can feel a sudden coldness."

4) "OH MY GOD. You don't have a stead! You better hurry up and find one or you're likely to become lesbian."

5) "I think that by doing all the things that girls like to do, I think that they'll like me."

Okay, obviously number 1 and 2 are the same person, and number 4 and 5 are the same person. For your information, I shall not say who these people are.

Top 5 (rather ridiculous) trends in schools in 2005:

1) Girls fold their skirts until it's really short, apparently to get attention from the opposite gender.

2) Girls have like a million hairclips clipped on their head, especially the shiny ones, which make them look like a disco ball.

3) Guys wearing those white framed specs which have sides are so chunky that you can't see their eyes from the sideview.

4) Guys having their sideburns to be really short but the hair at the back looks like a lawn that has not been mown.

5) People not tucking in their shirts/blouses. They look down right sloppy and it's just plain ugly. (Of course you can't possibly tuck the whole damn shirt in, cause you'll look geek. So have some common sense.)

To people doing/having these trends, no offence ya? but honestly, stop it.
